Why do we collect this information?
We will use your information to process your purchase and order. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may use your telephone number to contact you regarding your order. We require this information in order to process your order and fulfil our contract with you.
What do we do with your information?
All the information we collect from you is stored and processed in the UK. The order database containing all order and customer information collected from the online application forms is stored and remotely backed-up on a secure web server in a Data Centre managed and owned by the UK web hosting company EUKHost.
Your contact details are passed to a third-party courier service. We use a courier service to provide us with a means of delivering your order. The courier will only store your contact details for the period of delivering your item.
Your payment details are passed to a third-party payment processor Barclays. NO payment details are ever stored by Kent Particles. We use Barclays to provide us with a secure debit and credit card payment processing service. If you choose to pay by this method online via our website, your card details, name, address, IP address, and email will be transmitted to Barclays securely for the processing of payment and for fraud prevention. Barclays will not store your card details.
We work with businesses who manage and support our website and as such, they have access to the information that we request from you in order to process your booking.
In rare cases we may disclose information to third parties where a legal obligation, or similar order is enforced upon us. Kent Particles do not share data with any third parties other than those specifically mentioned above.
We will always take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
How long do we keep your information for?
We keep your information on file unless a request is made to us to delete it. We do this so you can view past orders and log in to update your contact details.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
